Bengkulu, August 2, 2025 – The English Education Study Program of Universitas Bengkulu successfully organized a vibrant and engaging Bazaar Expo on August 1–2, 2025. The event took place at the main field of Campus 1, Universitas Muhammadiyah Bengkulu, drawing enthusiastic participation from students, lecturers, and the wider community.
The two-day expo featured a wide range of booths offering local products, culinary delights, handmade crafts, educational games, and cultural displays. The event was not only a platform for showcasing students’ creativity and entrepreneurial spirit but also served as a practical implementation of English communication skills in real-life contexts.
Visitors had the opportunity to enjoy live performances, including music, poetry readings, and drama presentations—all conducted in English. This approach aimed to promote language learning in an interactive and entertaining environment.
“This bazaar is more than just a market; it’s a celebration of language, culture, and creativity,” said one of the organizing lecturers. “It provides a unique opportunity for our students to apply their English skills while engaging with the public in a meaningful way.”
The event was met with positive responses from attendees, many of whom appreciated the effort and innovation displayed by the students. The success of the Bazaar Expo further reflects the commitment of the English Education Study Program to provide experiential learning opportunities that bridge academic theory with real-world practice.
