Well-equipped and representative lecture rooms are essential to ensure a comfortable and effective learning environment for both lecturers and students. Adequate lighting, a cool room temperature, cleanliness, and neat arrangement are consistently prioritized to support an optimal teaching and learning experience.
UMB Language Center or Self Access Center (SAC)
The UMB Language Center, also known as the Self Access Center (SAC), serves as an independent English learning hub for lecturers, students of UMB, and the general public. SAC collaborates with the Indonesia International Education Foundation (IIEF), the official representative of the English Testing Service (ETS) in the United States, to administer the TOEFL ITP test in Bengkulu Province.
UMB Sportatorium (GOR)
The UMB Sports Hall, commonly known as the UMB Sportatorium, features an international-standard court that supports the development of students’ interests and talents, as well as the organization of various local, national, and international events. This multifunctional venue is used for a wide range of activities, including grand religious gatherings, sports tournaments, graduation ceremonies, weddings, music concerts, and many other events.
Library
The Library of Universitas Muhammadiyah Bengkulu has been accredited with an “A” rating. It is IT-based and integrated with SLiMS, offering access to an E-Library, E-Books, and E-Journals. The library is also affiliated with the National Library of the Republic of Indonesia. Located in Building B on Campus 1, the UMB Library provides comprehensive academic resources for students and lecturers. In addition to the main university library, UMB also features a BI Corner — a result of collaboration between UMB Library and Bank Indonesia — located on Campus 4.
Auditorium
To accommodate small to medium-scale events, Universitas Muhammadiyah Bengkulu (UMB) provides two auditoriums, each with a capacity of 500 people. Both auditoriums are equipped with air conditioning, sound systems, projectors, and TVs. A wide range of events has been held in these auditoriums, including work meetings, seminars, workshops, training sessions, school farewell events, and more.
Student Dormitory
Universitas Muhammadiyah Bengkulu (UMB) currently provides separate dormitories for male and female students. These dormitories are managed by the Student Islamic Boarding School Committee of UMB. The female dormitory is located on Campus 4, while the male dormitory is situated on Campus 2. In the first year, dormitory residents are primarily recipients of the KIP Kuliah scholarship program. They are guided by religious mentors (ustadz) and dormitory advisors (musyrif/musyrifah) under a curriculum developed in accordance with the standards of the Association of Student Dormitory Managers of Muhammadiyah–Aisyiyah Higher Education Institutions.
Wi-Fi Area
In addition to the facilities mentioned above, Universitas Muhammadiyah Bengkulu (UMB) is equipped with Wi-Fi access points throughout all campus areas, providing reliable internet connectivity for students and staff. The university also features canteens and comfortable hangout areas with a cool and relaxing atmosphere, supporting both academic and social activities on campus.
